McMillin's Furniture has been located at the main corner of Yale, Michigan since 1948. From 1948 to 1980, Sophie McMillin the founder, owned and operated the furniture business. In the 50’s and 60’s when most woman were staying at home, she was running a business dominated by men. We like to say that she was leading woman to the business world.

Chuck her son working by his mother’s side learned the business and how to give our customers that great shopping experience and customer service they deserve.

Chuck has been at the helm since 1980 growing the business to its current 22,000 sq. ft and making it one of the finest furniture stores in Michigan. Chuck’s son Justin is now following the McMillin tradition in the same fashion as his father and grandmother for over 10 years. Justin has had experience attending over 30 markets learning first hand the latest furniture fashions, the best products, and best values for our customers, while never forgetting that exceptional customer service is our most important product.
